Your Adventure Base Or Tranquil Retreat

Explore the spectacular Pyrénées mountains from these beautiful French gîtes, restored from an eighteenth-century bergerie, in the picturesque Campan Valley.

Nestled in a tranquil green setting, Les Granges des Hautes-Pyrénées consists of three self-catering cottages; a 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom.

This flexible accommodation is perfect for solo travellers, couples, families and groups, with exclusive rental of our 3 and 2 bedroom gîtes available for larger groups, sleeping up to 10 adults.

The gîtes have been thoughtfully renovated to retain their authentic charm, with modern conveniences added to guarantee your total comfort.

    Let's set the scene...

After a day exploring the nearby - Tour de France cols, Pyrénées National Park hiking trails, Grand Tourmalet-La Mongie/Barèges ski station (winter), amphitheatre-like cirques (including UNESCO world heritage site Gavarnie), cave systems, castles, animal parks, spa towns and local markets.

Return to the comfort of the Les Granges des Hautes-Pyrénées. Set away from the main road on 8 acres of land, made up of wildflower meadows, a large lawn and a quaint babbling stream. The gîtes offer plenty of space, both inside and out, to relax and unwind.

Soak in the rural tranquillity and surrounding rocky mountain views, from the hammock or sun loungers, located high in the garden. Or perhaps choose to relax inside, in the comfortable open plan living space, found in all three gîtes. Complete with generous seating options and an efficient wood stove or underfloor heating.

Later on, why not enjoy a bbq dinner on the terrace or a traditional mountain raclette in the cosy ambience inside. Before taking the opportunity, to admire the twinkling stars in this International Dark Sky Reserve Area of the Pic du Midi (RICE).
